Have you had a productive conversation with a generative AI yet? Like many, including me, you may have felt skepticism at first. Michael Taylor's article in "Lenny's Newsletter" presents "Five Proven Prompt Engineering Techniques" to enhance your experience. Whether you're a founder or a CEO, see how AI can address your challenges.

Have you had a productive, running conversation with one of the generative AI solutions out there yet? Your initial interactions, like many of us, were probably met with a bit of skepticism. As noted in a recent issue of “Lenny’s Newsletter” (which I highly recommend), a guest author Michael Taylor contributed an article on the “Five Proven Prompt Engineering Techniques.”

I highly recommend reading his 5 basic and 3 advanced suggestions. Among his recommendations, I have found Role Playing to be an effective technique for me. I bounced around using a few different models and have found that I consistently return to Claude (from Anthropic) to have my longer conversations.

Lenny puts out an incredible amount of great content around “building product, driving growth, and accelerating your career.” He offers a free email subscription and a paid version (with more frequency and exclusive content). Learn more about subscribing to Lenny’s Newsletter.
